Ram Krishna Beach: About 5 km from the city center on the east coast, the largest stretch of coastline is occupied by Ram Krishna Beach, also known as RK Beach. Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (MCV) and VUDA have jointly developed The R.K. the beach Other RK Beach attractions include the Underwater Museum, the Visakha Museum, the Sri Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, an aquarium, the Kali Temple, statues of prominent personalities, roadside restaurants and parks. The war memorial on the shore of ‘Victory at Sea’ beach, which was built as a tribute to the soldiers of the 1971 war, is well worth a visit.

Lawson Bay Beach

Adjacent to RK Beach on the way to Kalasagiri Hill with its golden sand and lush greenery is Lawson Bay Beach. This beach is ideal for beach bathing and surfing as it has relatively clear water. Sometimes known as Pedwaltair Beach, it is a beautiful and scenic beauty for miles.

Rishikonda Beach

A densely covered hill and an ideal tourist destination, Rishikonda beach, located 13 km from Visakhapatnam, is a beautiful, picturesque and wonderful recreational place to spend time. Surrounded by seven hills, the 14th century Sri Sapat Rasheshwar Temple is located in Rishikonda. The beautiful Rishikonda beach with its golden sand and wide expanse of water is the best beach in Vizag. Yarada Beach

Located 15 km from the city of Vizag, Yarada Beach offers spectacular views with its exotic mix of golden sands and lush green hills. This beach can be an ideal place for a day that is between the hills on three sides and the Bay of Bengal on one side. The calm and shallow waters are also perfect for children. Yarada Beach offers a relaxing and private setting.

Indira Gandhi Zoological Park

The Indira Gandhi Zoological Park is located in Visakhapatnam amidst the beautiful Ghats of East India. It is located in the beautiful Eastern Ghats with natural scenery. The zoo is surrounded by hills on both sides and attracts many visitors from all over the country. The zoo is 4 km before Rishikonda beach, it is closed on Mondays, if you are not going to bring your vehicle be prepared for a 2 km walk one way. Drinking water and dining facilities are available indoors. There is also a toy train. The main gate of the zoo is on NH 5 and the other end is on the road side of the beach. Zoo visit hours are from 9 am to 5 pm. It has separate sections for primates, carnivores, lesser carnivores, small mammals, reptiles. ungulates and birds.

VUDA Park

VUDA Park, also known as Tarka Ram Park, was named after the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri NT Rama Rao. The park has been developed by the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) near Ramakrishna Beach in Visakhapatnam. VUDA Park is one of the most attractive places in Visakhapatnam. Musical fountain, canoeing, skating rink, horse and camel rides. This park is a great draw for the crowds and has a dancing musical fountain. It is an ideal place for everyone to spend their afternoons and leisure time on the beach with a colorful and ecological environment. Along with a green playground, artificial caves, beautiful long lawns, flower gardens, and a playground, boating and swimming facilities make this park a great place to spend time. The wide entrance plaza creates memorable moments of joy for visitors. Thousands of people visit VUDA Park every day. This is another milestone in the tourism chapter of Visakhapatnam.
